Our RIB, Dalton, is principally a first response craft for rescue purposes, for patrol, transport, lifejacket compliance monitoring and assistance to the shore unit.

Dalton is fitted with new twin 115hp Yamaha engines and a new trailer. She is now also has a marine VHF DSC radio and an AIS system.

Coxswains & Crew are issued with:

  • Dry Suit with Sewn in Boots
  • Fleece Full-body Suit ‘Wooly Bear’
  • Gecko Helmet & Visor
  • Full Weight Life Jacket
  • Neoprene Gloves
  • VHF Waterproof Case
  • Summer Wear Flotation Suits

All Coxswains have the Yachtmaster Coastal Certificate along with theISA Advanced Powerboat Certificate.

Crew have the ISA National Powerboat Certificate.

All going to sea must have their First aid and VHF certs and undergo a Coast Guard assessment.
